What's Behind the No In the Party of No?

Politics Plus has a zinger of a post today. Required reading.

I have to admit that I was taken aback when Obama started to adopt GOP talking points. I wondered if he was crazy! The way he has the GOP so twisted around that their heads are now up their own arses proves that he is crazy. Crazy like a fox!

But that's just the ending. There's more, much more: Rep. Mike Pence's (R-IN) lies on defense funding, and Keith Olbermann's and Rachel Maddow's take on the sheer idiocy of the Republicans.

  2. I watched the exchange live, and have followed the various MSM pundits who spoke to it. No doubt the Republicans had it wrong, and like the president said, they know it.

  5. I will check it out, it sounds about right...if they try to tell the truth, they get heart attacks...even Rush tried to come clean in Hawaii...and look what happened

  6. With Republicans it's all about money, power and control and winning. The hard core movement conservatives among them, like Pence, and political hacks like Boehner, don't give a happy damn if soldiers die for lack of needed support or if thousands of Americans die each year for lack of medical care.

Olbermann and Maddow both did a masterful job this evening of pointing up how the moment Obama says he's for something Republicans have supported in the recent past, suddenly, they're against it.

That shouldn't surprise anyone. It's simply a matter of Republicans doing anything to win.

  7. But Teeluck: Since Rush doesn't even have a heart, he had to have faked it. Does "tee" have something to do with golf?

SW: I only have basic cable but I'm sure I'll find the videos all over the Blogosphere in a few hours.

Wow. I thought I was the only one who stayed up to all hours.
