If you think Rush Limbaugh, the master showman, was faking his alleged heart attack, it's a good bet you'd be right on the money. What a sham. I'm trying very hard to follow my own admonishments of yesterday to not sink to the level of the wing-nuts, but it's already becoming somewhat of a challenge.
This suspected heart attack was a fake, a fraud. It was a stage for the man to perform another well-orchestrated attack on health care reform in the United States. But wait, isn't Limbaugh one of those who claims that Hawaii isn't part of the U.S.?
He was given a clean bill of health. No surprise there. But were the doctors examining the right part of his anatomy? And were they the right specialists for Limbaugh's real condition?
Just to prove how successful this clown is at manipulating the public and the media, I did a quick news search on Google. Limbaugh's so-called illnes attracted over 2500 hits in the media. Dick Cheney's criticism of President Obama barely received 500. So, who's counting?
Crying over NFL and players refusing his bid to own the Rams.
All the world's a stage.
All the world's a stage.
as soon as I saw the report stating NO HEART PROBLEMS I knew he was doing it for publicity! What an SOB!!!
ReplyDeleteNow, Now...it could have been a gas attack....
ReplyDeleteYou really can't expect this guy to stand up and say, "...well, I had chest pains and I thought it was a heart attack...but the greatest healthcare system in the world informed me that it was only a gas attack...."
Somebody should insert gas up his canal. When he said, "I've never had heart problems in my life," I thought you low-down, slimy son-of-a-bitch.
ReplyDeleteAs I posted over at Sue's.. He just had to get into the Hospital to try to find and destroy the records of Pres. Obama's birth.. that way he could say for sure there is none..lol That's all it was.. Just a ploy to get into the hospital to find the records..
ReplyDeleteHe wouldn't be trying to steal a little press from the President, who is staying on the same island, would he?
ReplyDeleteHe just cannot stand it, if he's not the headline of the day.
I give Al Franken credit for one thing. His book " Rush Limbaugh is a big fat idiot" was properly titled.
ReplyDeleteWho knows how this neanderthal's brain works, but I suspect he wanted to take a dig at the president while proclaiming the American Health system works great.
ReplyDeleteTheatrics.
I had to laugh at Limbaugh's comment about American's health care system working great. As reported at thinkprogress.org, "Hawaii has already passed reform measures similar to those that Congress is currently considering as part of comprehensive reform — measures that Limbaugh has constantly been attacking."
ReplyDeleteGas bag Limbaugh blows farts out of both ends.
To have a heart problem, a person has to have one to start with.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing in his thorax except blubber.
Maybe the next one won't be a figment of his imagination.
ReplyDeleteIn his case, wouldn't a heart problem be a physical impossibility?
ReplyDeleteHowever, whenever he opens his mouth we have a fart problem.
Amazing the quality health care a multi millionaire can get for having indigestion in this country. Who would ever have thought a rich white guy would be treated quickly and professionally in one of our hospitals.
ReplyDeleteI do wonder if Rush contacted the Ballonn Boy family for some tips on how not to get caught.
NO ! ! NO ! ! !NO ! ! He went to the hospital to get his hillbilly heroin [oxy-contin] refill.
ReplyDeleteRather plausible -- perhaps he just wanted to upstage Glenn Beck's notorious fake tears?
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, he is a walking inventory of bad health habits. If this was staged he's still going to hit the real thing sooner or later.
Hmmmmm ....imagine that ....if I didnt know Rush been cryin in that photo, I would have thought that was sperm dripping from his eye's ....
ReplyDeleteThank You ........
Hearing that Limbaugh was in Hawaii sparked my curiosity. Is Obama having an Eggnog Summit with Limbaugh?
ReplyDeleteI think you guys should form a commedy team. What a hilarious collection of one liners - hillbilly heroin, sperm (I figured it was something that had backed up from his nose to his eyes), and to top it off, Eggnog.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the entertainment. The s.o.b. faked it.
I must be the only one here who has ever been rushed to the hospital with chest pains that turned out to be nothing but stress and anxiety? It's an aweful feeling. Ever have any undiagnosed illness or pain that you knew was as real as real can be? If you ever do, I hope no one tells you you're faking it - THAT would be heartless.

ReplyDeletesk2": I deleted that post because I wanted to think a little more about what you said.
ReplyDeleteMy husband had serious heart problems for over 30 years - two different by-passes and numerous angiplastigrams (sp??). The man never complained one time. My father, on the other hand, had bypass one time and NO significant problems after. Whenever there was a family get together or someone else got sick, he would fake a heart attack because he couldn't stand not being the center of attention.
Maybe Limbaugh was suffering from anxiety. A lot of personalities, regardless of political persuasion or occupation, have to have attention to live. It is their food. It is a given that RL has some emotional problems, so it would be in keeping for him to fake a heart attack. He has to have that attention and if it doesn't come naturally, he will create it. He's a showman first and foremost.
So, imo, the bottom line is that he faked it for publicity, period.
Redd Fox made a hit comedy show (Chico and the Man) on mainly one line; he would grab his heart and cry, "I'm coming."
ReplyDeleteI have no way to know if Rush is faking. I do know millions fake, or exaggerate their medical conditions, to get attention.
I do know Rush, is not above that kind of tactic. In fact, that's what makes the accusation, so believable.
Thanks, Tom. Oh, I think totally within the realm of possibilities. Given the profile of your average faker, I think he goes over the top. This is theater for him.
ReplyDeleteIf he is faking it, maybe he can write off the cost as a business expense.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure he'll write the whole trip off as a business expense, even if he only went to lunch with one broadcaster.
