1960s: Joe Crocker - With a Little Help From My Friends (and Some Groovy Scenes From Woodstock)

This video really gives you a feel for the massive size of the Woodstock crowd and the human drama playing out around the main events. There were young adults, small children and even nuns. There were colorful buses, and funny cigarettes and such stuff. There was dancing and nudity.

But there was much, much more. This was the summer of peace and love and Woodstock was the mecca. Despite a crowd of nearly 500,000 people, a serious food shortage, mud and rain, there were no incidents, as the fuzz like to say.

In this video, Joe Crocker is singing "With a Little Help From My Friends," an appropriate song for watching all those friends love, sing and dance.

  1. I wish more people used the term "the fuzz" these days.

  3. I was definately old enough, clearing my throat, but didn't have the funds to go. Always my big regret but, like you, I can always dream.
