Senate Republicans say they're prepared to have a Hoedown while reading lengthy amendments out loud if it means stalling action on the health care bill. Well, skip to my Lou, the fly's in the buttermilk, shoo fly, shoo. I wish I had my swatter - I'd aim for the top of McCain's head.
AP reported that "Senator John McCain of Arizona accused Democrats of violating President Barack Obama's promises of transparency by finalizing the sweeping health bill behind closed doors." Whine, whine, whine.
McCain said Friday that given the secrecy, it's reasonable to demand changes to the legislation be read aloud. That could take many hours and jeopardize Democrats' goal of passing the bill by Christmas. But for Republicans, that's exactly the point. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said Republicans had no intention of expediting passage of the legislation.
they really are pigs aren't they! I will be shocked if they pick up alot of seats in 010, It sickens me to watch them and I don't know how the people could want them back in the majority.
