Sweet Joan.

  1. Oso: Are you having a conversation with yourself up above? Cute she was - when she was younger - and with a lot of quiet dignity. Now she's a beautiful, quietly dignified, lady who remains true to herself and to her cause - and still sings like an angel.

  2. Premium T. and I saw her two years ago. Wonderful show. I knew far more of the songs than I realized I did, and had a bucket list moment during "Joe Hill."

  3. Hi Leslie,
I thought someone might think here's this strong, committed, dedicated to peace and justice woman-and all this idiot can say is "she's cute?"

LOL she's all those things, but yeah cute too. What can I say, I'm a guy.

  4. Heard her the other day as I was flipping through a satellite radio channel at work. Brought back some great memories.

Looked up the "Exit Blue" book at Amazon, can't help but say they same thought of Blue America breaking away has passed through my head several times lately.

  5. K: Glad you enjoyed it. I never get tired of the lady myself.

Oso: And a old one at that. ; )

BB: Get it. Ivan is a good writer. Haven't read it myself but fully intend to as soon as I get my next SS checky.

  6. OSO ... You have great eyesight and taste Guy! And you look great yourself for being an old man! :)

But Baez of course Leslie was one of them great iconic figure's ... in a type of poetic sense to me such as Bob Dylan or Lou Reed, if I recall she also done a set at Woodstock (NY) as well. She actually look's a tad like Joan Jett too! I am a big Joan Jett fan!

    Thanx Leslie ...
