Sock It To 'Em: Buggers Becoming Unraveled

From Media Matters in an article headlined "Note to Breitbart: GOP supporter punched woman at Nevada debate."

Don't look for Andrew Breitbart's Democrat-hating websites to be on top of this story today, even though they seem obsessed with any instances of political violence. (i.e. Dems are thugs!)

Breitbart bloggers will likely shy way this time because --oops-- this case doesn't fit the right-wing script. This story features a supporter of Republican senatorial candidate Sharron Angle punching a woman in the face at a candidate's forum in Nevada last night.

And Sue reports on another incident  HERE.

They must be feeling the strain of defending their lies.

  2. From democracy to mob rule...

Wonder what our Founding Fathers would have thought about all of this.....my guess would be, "...damn, and we risked our lives and our fortunes for this?"

Now we know why why only the few property owning white men were allowed to vote..... :)

If we restored this nation on the principles of the Founding Fathers then we wouldn't have to put up with most of the Tea Parties and we sure wouldn't have Sharon Angle running for anything!

  4. Interesting Leslie, as far as showing the mentality of the masses in general ... remember ... all this fighting and fist throwing is over supporting a bunch of millionaire seat warmer's that are robbing us blind to begin with. Needless to say I reckon ... why we dont actaully get any change.

    Goodnight Leslie ....

  5. We've long known how much "courage" the right wing has. Remember how they snaked around the block, waiting to sign up down at the Army Recruiting Office after their monkey launched his Oedipal Crusade on Iraq?

Yeah, I don't either. But you see what I'm saying.

  6. There has always been such an air of hysteria about the the ultra-cons. If the Republicans ever had any notion of harnessing their energized base for this election and then letting them crawl back under their rocks, they can forget it. Somebody got the Gremlins wet; somebody fed them after midnight.

  7. I've been calling this America hating ass Breitbart out since he came to Quincy to stir up a hoard of fellow closed minded fools.

Hope you have better luck calling this sissie right wing pusscake out Leslie.

  8. Greeat catch with this one Leslie. The right has always resorted to violence when intellect fails them, and in the case of the insaniTEA wing of the Republican Regime, intellect fails them daily before breakfast.

  9. RC: I think it's amazing anything at all get changed and change doesn't happen overnight in the best of climates.

JR: "Oedipal Campaign" describes it to a tee. Like that.

Nance. Good observation. Paranoia, hysteria and ignorance are a very dangerous combination.

Aya: We've had a lot of crazies like Breitbart in the past. I'm pretty confident that his day will come, if not tmorrow, sooner than later.

TC: I think it begins before breakfast. I think it began before they were even hatched.

  10. Note the physical aspects of the assailant. In addition to being old and ugly, his waist line must be somewhere beyond five feet in circumference.

Wanna bet he has a two-inch dick?

  11. Founding Fathers: "Um, what the hell are you doing?"

Right Wing: "Trying to make this country like you envisioned again! We're saving democracy!"

Founding Fathers: "Is this something from The Onion?"

  12. Having probs w/ Blogger for about the 4th day in a row.

Frodo: As a woman, I'd rather not make a judgement call on that.

    Bee: LOL. Great scenario.

  13. The Christie incident in California has a lot of people pissed off here. Meg couldn't answer her own questions or is she now doing the Tundra twits' media avoidance technique. Seems they have all taken her lesson in avoidance to obscene levels, they won't even talk to local news. Whitman thinks her 100+ million will b buying her the governor's seat, not according to many people I know, that oh by the way are repubs.

  14. The key component amongst Conservatives seems to be cowardice (although Bigotry plays a healthy role as well). The Teabaggers are the Chicken Hawks. The squawk real loud about freedom and liberty but they've never shed an ounce of sweat or a drop of blood for either and they've never faced real coercion and intimidation and discrimination. They are the ones engaging in Intimidation and Discrimination.

  15. Jess: Unless "they" corrupt the voting machines, which is entirely possible, I think you're right. I don't think most people are impressed with the obscene amounts of money that is put into these campaigns. In fact it probably scares the hell out of most voters, as it should.

Grung-e-Gene: So true. Do as I say and not as I do.
