Two Weeks in Wisconsin (Video)

Moving and inspirational. The best I've seen so far.

  1. That is superb. It rings with conviction, authenticity and decency — things no amount of Koch brothers or Bradley Foundation money could buy from a topflight PR outfit.

This video should be entered in the Academy Awards documentary category. What it lacks in technical polish it more than makes up for in the things I mentioned above.

  2. SW: I'm not sure the lack of technical polish is all bad. The fact that it isn't slick or sophisticated just adds to its authenticity.

  3. tnlib: I have to rip and post this on my site! Many thanks for bringing this vid to my attention!!!

A lot of my family's relatives were born and still live in Wisconsin, and I can assure you those are good folks up there who deserve better than this governor and his Koch Brothers inspired agenda.
    Great post!!!

  4. Thank You for the compilation clip Leslie, never seen it. This has been interesting up there, I have tried to be as fair as possibly writing about this and Gov. Walker especially, but have had a hard time swallowing his move's on this, not "fair" any way I slice it, bottom line. Also from the start of this ... I never seen what in Hell "bargaining right's" have to do with "money trimming" ? I just think it's all bunk, as well as the physical handling of democrat representative's by law enforcement, I'll shut up now.

  5. quote from Diane Gee's FB page:

"Jesus was a teacher and a laborer. Pilate was a governor. Just sayin' "

  7. Great comment from each of you. Funny, I keep wanting to call him Wallace. I kind of have this feeling that he's cooked his on goose. And I'm not sure that all these Republicans who are only interested in unseating Obama aren't doing the same thing.

  8. My God this is fabulous!!!! I left a message today at our local Democratic Party HQ today. I want to know if there's a recall petition to rid us of John Kasich and how I can help. That you-know-what disallowed from voting several GOP senators (one of whom I know personally and is a good guy) who were going to stand with the Democrats. I want his head on a plate.

  9. Go for it, girl. These Republican nuts of today have just gone crazy but, hopefully, they're going to get slapped down, stomped and spit on - among a few other things.
