HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY LABOR DAY WEEKEND
BUT
DON'T FORGET TO TAKE A FEW MOMENTS TO HONOR OUR WORKERS
BUT
DON'T FORGET TO TAKE A FEW MOMENTS TO HONOR OUR WORKERS
These are the people who fix our roofs, repair our leaks, put out our fires, save our lives, build our shelters, teach our children, build our roads and bridges, grow and harvest our food, stock our shelves, keep our streets safe, maintain our parks. These are the people who built America and who keep it running.

Should Liberals be allowed to celebrate Labor Day?
ReplyDeleteWhat Liberals Need to Understand is that you need to work before you can celebrate labor day.
Collecting Food Stamps, Welfare, Hand-Ours and Obama-Phones is NOT considered work.
And as usual a fright wing Neanderthal has to turn an American holiday into a pile of muck. Class.
DeleteLeslie, that TTU troll has been all over the blogs today spreading its merde. It is too dumb to know that it was LIBERALS who gave us Labor Day. But those type of trolls are not known for their intelligence or grasp of history. All they know how to do is copy and paste. I don't believe they even read the drivel they copy. And sometimes they can't even copy and paste:

I figured he was a troll but since it's an American holiday, thanks to the union man, I figured I'd be charitable and lower my standards just this once.

DeleteWho asked for your permission or your opinion? Go pound sand.
Hahaha. Good one Octo.
DeleteLeslie, beautiful post. (I want the same job as you! I love horses too).
ReplyDeleteLabor comes in so many forms, as you showed in your post. Some jobs are better than others--to everyone because we each have the "ideal" job in our own mind, however, each job is important. From doctors to secretaries to street sweepers to police officers to hostesses and farmers.
Just think of all the people who work to make our world go round. Each plays an integral part, and if one isn't there it can throw off the balance of that particular establishment.
So yes, Happy Labor Day!
Thanks Pam. What a good way to look at it. Yes, we are all interlocked - just like a good piece of cloth.
