It's hard to know what to say in the face of so much loss, pain and suffering. Anyone who can spare even a few dollars, a moment of prayer or at least positive thoughts, should do so. It's not much but it adds up and matters.
I wish I coule remember where I saw the article, but it told about the money raised by twitter donors with $10 each. So it does add up and it does matter.

ReplyDeleteAs of last night, the texting donation plans had raised something like 7 million bucks - not too shabby, not too shabby at all.
ReplyDeleteYesterday evening an NPR reporter in Port Au Prince broke down on the air. I nearly broke down myself, and I don't break down.
To me, the devastation is too much for my feeble brain to grasp. The total horror of it all is unimaginable.
