Brain Rage only rages sometimes, and then only when the occasion calls for it, such as when a politician or commentator says something really stupid or an injustice cries for exposure. Of course, stupid comments can generate a lot of rage and a lot of blogs.
But in Malkin On Transparency and Show Trials Brain Rage uses his most perceptive and balanced analytical skills to examine the current political arena. The article isn't all about her, either. He takes on the GOP, the president, Congress and health care reform.
I expected Obama to have given up trying to work with these people (the GOP) long ago but as always he's proven himself to be a far more patient and pragmatic man than I could ever hope to be, but he's also not a sucka. He and the Dems have realized that in order to achieve any real results on this front they're going to have to finally get their hands dirty and do some actual work whether the Republicans want to participate or not.
I like JBW's approach. At least he says what I want to hear and he says it objectively without all the rancor emanating from so many quarters. It's a good read.
Thanks for the tip, it is an excellent piece of writing.
