It doesn't pay to be dishonest

The lady isn't going to jail - as I had predicted and hoped for just last week - but supporters of Sarah Palin must return nearly $400,000 "in donations raised by her legal defense trust after an investigator ruled the fund ran afoul of state ethics laws." Of course this is a mere drop in a horse trough compared to all the millions she's amassed since she ran for vice president.

The defense fund – established in April 2009 when Palin was governor of Alaska – was deemed unlawful because organizers used the word "official" to describe the fund on its website and appointed a public employee with ties to Palin to serve as its trustee.

I promised I wasn't going to give this woman attention that she doesn't deserve. You can read more here if you're so inclined.

  1. Palin's a grifter. 2 years ago the Republican party offered her the grift of a lifetime. In exchange for shitting on the Teabaggers they'd give her millions the Republican Party has bilked out of their battered voters.

She'd gladly burn down the nation for the chance at few million more. And the punk ass bitch Republicans love it because they are paying her a pittance compared to the Trillions they've stolen from the nation and world...

  2. Typical republican! Lie, cheat, and steal from the public.

  3. Her book sales and TV contract will give her the funds to repay. I wonder if she knew this decision was coming. Quit her job as Gov. to earn a quick few million to pay a fine and live like a real rich Republican.

  4. I used to be the first one in line to call this woman a liar. As time has passed I've come around to thinking that she's not so much a conscious liar as she is an unconscious one because she is simply so painfully ignorant.

  5. She is painfully ignorant, but where is Todd in all this? I thought he was the brains standing behind the dumbass....

  6. Sue - I'm sure Todd's back home taking care of the kiddies. Not. Probably working on how to secede from the U.S. Good riddance.

For Audition. I am a huge lover of the performing arts but my blog is about politics.
Even the music videos are related to politics in the 1960s and 1970s. I run them on Saturdays as a little reprieve from more serious topics. I wish you luck.

  7. Calling her a liar is of course accurate. But I need a word for a dupe that tells lies they are fed.

Sarah is a puppet. Charlie McCarthy with a vagina. She says whatever her controlers tell her. She remains blissfully ignorant and growing richer everyday. But for the millions she makes, her corporate republican bosses are making several times that.

  8. Sarah Palin - living proof that you don't have to be smart to earn (or just be given) lots of money.

  9. The lawyer appointed to investigate this little ethical oopsie comes off as laughable. He said she "probably" OK'd the fund-raising site on bad advice from out-of-state lawyers.

In other Palin news, the dog ate her kids' homework and her eight-foot-high fence blocks her view of Russia.

  10. Hate is such a strong word, I rarely use it because I find it offensive. I have no choice but to make an exception for her. Yes World, I hate this maggot.
Guess what, I hate McCain even more for being the spineless worm he is and jettisoning her into the spotlight.
Truth 101, Who is the one pulling her strings...
Todd's to stupid. Is it Roger Ailes?

  11. Nothing I can add to the comments other than to ask: why do the media treat this broad like a pop-culture phenom?

  12. Buenos Dias Senorita Leslie!

I first will state for the record that Palin is not officially accused of wrong doing legally, she is not as dumb as everyone may fantasize. I got a laugh at Ms.Sue' question on where is Todd in this? .... heh, heh, heh, heh, heh ... which is a good question .... however .... in the Palin household ... understand that Ms.Palin is the brain's and chief of operation's whatever one may think ... Todd does what he's told. I have wrote about Palin in the past, not because of the pop culture thing's she is well known for, but because I see her as dangerous if she was ever given power such as Presidency. She is one of them type's that actually believe when she get's such power, that it was set up by a force/ god ... and she has a commitment to pay in return .... which will screw with thing's like women's right's to choose, gay right's, and also letting corporate icon's have more power, despite what she claim's. Most look at her as cute, dumb, naive, etc. Which is fine for entertainment reason's, but on some thing's, she is sharp as a razor, and could slice you to ribbon's with no emotion, she is much more brutal than what meet's the eye, and she is a "winner" ... she can sell a crowd of "sheople" ... and they will never suspect her of much. Great personality ... for some chat, a ballgame, etc. But I wouldnt trust this person as far as I could throw her on business or politic's. I'll shut up.

    Thank You Ms.Leslie ......

  13. I'd said I was going to quit writing about her because she gets far more attention than she deserves. Her little blip across the TV screen should have been erased a long time ago. But I'm glad to see her get even a tiny bit of justice and I look forward to more down the road. I don't think "she" should be featured as much as her lies.

  14. One more thing that Judge Truth brought up, that is importante .... the corporate factor ... she is in bed with them bigtime, and those are the one's who are able to really manipulate her. She is dangerous in my opinion, and I will never count her out of anything till she retire's or is 6 feet under.

  15. I don't think this woman has brain one. Here's a piece I did back in Feb. about that man and that woman.
